DESCRIPTION:this concert does not have a host yet\nFind out how you or your organization can host one of this summer’s concerts\nOnce a month, join us at 10 am on Saturday morning for concerts at Inwood Park with even more community, donuts, coffee, and the perfect way to start your weekend!\nCoffee provided by Mom ‘n ’em Coffee\n\nAbout the Band\nJump ‘​n’ Jive Big Band is one of the area’s great swinging bands with updated music for all ages! Our performances are packed with hits you are sure to enjoy. With swingin’ arrangements, the band generates energy and enjoyment everywhere they perform. Maybe you will even grab your partner and start dancing!We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, comprised of 22 professional musicians (saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and full rhythm section – drums, bass, guitar, piano) as well as conductor & singers. The band members donate their time and talents toward providing scholarship to 3 local universities.Jump ‘n’ Jive Big Band was founded in 2008 by Jerry Beck. Sadly, Jerry passed away in 2018. The band is now led by Tod Steen.\n\n\nSample the Band\n\n\nWeather Information\nIn the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm).
