Improvisation and Creation
Tuesdays, 7:00 – 8:00pm
This class encourages participants to explore the body, space, time, and energy through movement. The class will experiment with many different improvisational games in order to invent new movement and create dances never before seen.
Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Session: 10 weeks (June 13 – August 15, 2017)
Class Size: Minimum of 4 students required to run class.
About the Instructor Corrinne Bailey
Corrinne Bailey received her BFA in Dance from Ohio University in April of 2017. While at Ohio University she received her certification in Group Fitness, Hip Hop/Cardio Dance, and Pilates Mat. Bailey has been teaching Hip Hop and Pilates Mat classes at Ohio University’s recreation center since January, 2015. She has also taught Pilates Mat and Hip Hop classes as a semester long college course for non-majors and as a guest instructor in corporate offices. Currently, Bailey is working towards her full Pilates Comprehensive Certification and is training under Regional Trainer, Julie Toren to do so. Bailey is also working with MamLuft&Co., Cincinnati’s local modern dance company.
