Make Music with GarageBand

Ages 10 – 18

July 9 – 13, 10:00am – noon

This is a one-week camp for people who want to learn how to make music with the GarageBand app on their Apple laptop or iPad. Each day students will be allowed to work independently to create their musical compositions after a new skill or concept is introduced. The camp will teach the basics of music creation using the GarageBand app. This is a fun way for musically inclined students to learn how to use an Apple product to be musically expressive. The camp will culminate with a Friday “concert” where students will share their musical creations. This class is all about having fun and being creative with your Apple product!

Students must provide their own laptop computer or iPad. The camp classes will provide instruction for beginners so they have direction during the independent work time, but there will also be an opportunity for students who already create music on their own to work independently during the instructional time. All students will receive one on one coaching and feedback during independent creating time.
