Matt Waters at Rhythm on the Plaza
Uptown Cincinnati comes to life this summer with Uptown Arts Alive, free outdoor performances, six days a week designed to enliven our neighborhoods and bring people together through art! Happening in each of the 5 neighborhoods of Uptown, these 66 unique events will feature bands, musicians, actors, puppeteers, DJs, dancers, and performers of all types.
Rhythm on the Plaza happens each Tuesday (June 7 – Aug 16) from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and features music like salsa, mambo, and more to get your feet moving on a Tuesday night.

About the Band: Matt Waters
He’s a rock & soul artist from Cincinnati, OH who found love in music at an early age, and got pushed onto the stage for the first time at 14. From there, it was an obsession.
Location & attendance didn’t matter….Whether it’s the Cleveland House of Blues or a Toledo Waffle House…
Waters quickly earned the trust of local clubs, and began opening for national acts such as: AJR, Judah & the Lion, Here Come the Mummies, Freekbass, Tim Reynolds, Afroman, as well as Luke Combs & Judy Collins.
During 2019 alone, Waters played over 270 shows across the country from the ocean side bars of Laguna Beach, CA to the coffee shops of Burlington, VT and all the way back to Hilton Head, SC where it all began almost a decade prior.
Over the last 3 years, Waters has toured the country consistently with a mixed bag of configurations. Anything from a one man band with a loop pedal to a nine-piece funk band all under one roof, known as The Recipe.
