Meditative Painting – December

Ages 14 – 80+

Thursday December 16, 7:00 – 9:00pm

This workshop will focus on using paint, canvas, and meditative states for pure joy and relaxation. No painting skills or experience are required. Students will be guided through a painting process that will allow them to cultivate meditative and flow states to enhance relaxation, liberation, self-love, movement of energy, and authentic joy.

All materials are covered in the cost of the workshop. All that you will need to bring is yourself and a beginner’s mindset. Come enjoy painting, relaxation, and hot cup or tea and/or a glass of wine if interested. Each session will be unique.

About the Instructor: Annie Melzer

Annie Melzer has an advanced degree in Anthropology, is an instructor of the Anthropology of Art and World Cultures, a Certified Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork Teacher (Certified 300-hour Foundational Yoga Teacher and is currently finishing a 350+ hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training program), is a Certified Intentional Creativity Method Coach, an Artist-Creative, Storyteller, and Activist. Her work focuses on practices that lead students with a beginner’s mind toward a true experience of embodiment, deeper and more meaningful connections with themselves, others, and the earth. Annie’s teachings serve to empower her students in accessing their own inner knowledge, deep-felt wisdom, and relaxation through yoga, meditation, and creative practices. Annie has been practicing yoga for over two decades, works to educate her students about utilizing the teachings of yoga both on and off of the mat, and offers classes and series that are made accessible to all interested individuals at all levels.
