Natural Progression at Wednesdays in the Woods

This week’s concert is sponsored by Warren Avenue.

Celebrate everything great about summer outdoors and in-person at Clifton Cultural Arts Center’s spirited series of 11 free weekly concerts. Presented by the Louis & Melba Schott Foundation, Fifth Third Bank, Trustee, CCAC’s 13th annual summer concert series celebrates art, music, community, diversity and connection. Tonight’s special Independence Day Celebration will feature additional activities for families: Firework Wand crafts, themed tattoos (temporary, of course), lawn games – all culminating in a glow stick bonanza!

  • Tonight’s food vendors are Kabobske Mediterranean and Graeter’s Ice Cream Truck
  • We’ll be making Firework Wands at the Kids Art Corner
  • Due to the events of this past weekend, increased police presence has been required at events held in Cincinnati Parks at which alcohol will be served. With limited time to secure adequate security, CCAC has suspended beer sales at Wednesdays in the Woods until further notice.

About the Band: Natural Progression

Natural Progression is a group who believes that “good people deserve good music.” Originating in February 2011, Natural Progression hit the ground running and has yet to be stopped.  Their exhilarating sound derives from each individual’s roots in Jazz, R & B, Soul, Neo-Soul, and Gospel.  The true meaning of “Live” music comes to life when Joshua Jessen (keyboard), KJ glover (drums), David Harding (bass), Ben Sweeney (guitar), George Carpten (trumpet), Ricky Williams (saxaphone), Micah Davis (lead vocals), and KeiMarie (lead vocals) hit the stage.   With their distinct sound, Natural Progression captures their audience while taking them on a musical quest, covering artist such as Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Chaka Kahn, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Adele, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston.
