The YOLO Band at Wednesdays on the Green
Community Partner: Gabriel’s Place
Many thanks to this week’s generous concert sponsor, Rich & Co.!
Join us for this week’s Wednesdays on the Green – free evening concerts every Wednesday at 7pm – featuring the musical stylings of The YOLO Band! We’ve lined up musical performances from May 31 – August 9, and we can’t wait for a summer filled with music, dancing, hands-on art making for kids, picnics, summer treats and shared memories. Kick back in the grass, enjoy the show and meet some new friends on the beautiful lawn at CCAC.
July’s Community Partner is Gabriel’s Place – kindly bring donations of dining room matching folding tables and chairs, coat racks, office supplies (paper, pens, tape, copy paper, construction paper), display stands, chair covers, matching coffee cups, and cutlery.
About the Band: YOLO Band
The YOLO Band was formed nearly six years ago with four members of the six-member Professionals Band. The four members included vocalist Anita Blue, bassist and manager Mychael Langford, drummer Byron Anderson, and saxophonist Kim White. The YOLO Band added guitarist Gary Langford and keyboardist Bruce Seecrest to fill out their R&B/Smooth Jazz sound. In the past six years they have played clubs, restaurants, summer festivals, fundraising events and anywhere people want to get together to dance and have fun. The band’s name YOLO means “You Only Live Once.”
Many heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors!
