Yoga for Moms

Ages 18+

Saturdays, 7:00 – 8:00 a.m.

Being a mom is a beautiful experience that inevitably comes with many challenges. As an individual who is inspired to raise good humans and to also take care of myself, this yoga class provides a space and place for moms to take a little break for weekly renewal and rejuvenation. During each Saturday morning (at a time that will likely not interfere with other Saturday family activities and events), moms will come together in community to practice yoga postures, breathing, meditation, and relaxation on their mat as a way to honor the self for the work that they are doing. This series will be inspired by the text “Raising Good Humans” and incorporate the Intentional Creativity Method “Forward Future Thinking” approach.  Moms of children ages 1-70 who are either new to yoga or well established in their practice are inspired to sign up as modifications and options for all postures for all levels will be made available. Each class will incorporate guided instruction on breathing techniques and meditations that may be used on and off the mat on a daily basis.

  • Session: 10 weeks (September 11 – November 13, 2021)
  • Cost: $120 per student or $100 per student per session with 2 or more people signing up together
  • How to Register: Email annie@peaceinbeing.com with “Yoga for Moms” in the subject line. Tuition due prior to the first class meeting.
