About the Instructor: Manuel Maria Susarret, M.Ed.
Born and raised in New York City, Manuel has studied, taught and performed music ranging from the classical to Afro-Cuban for 50+ years. Manuel earned his Masters’ degree in Montessori Education at Xavier University. He teaches at the Early Childhood Education Online program at the University of Cincinnati, and is a consultant at Children’s Meeting House Montessori School in Loveland. In his “spare time”, this bi-lingual New Yorican enjoys his mother Edith Susarret Marrero’s art exhibits, CCM classical guitar workshops, Kai Kweol Caribbean Music and Dance, Brazilian Samba, collaborating with other artists, singing with the World House Choir and the Martin Luther King Chorale, and spending time with his wife Clare, eight grown children, 8 grandchildren, and his two great-grandsons.
