1:45 – 2:30 pmPlaza StageBook Club Rejects
About the Band
BCR is a high-energy rock band made up of six slightly seasoned musicians in their 50s who refuse to let go of their love for the rock anthems of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Born out of jam sessions while their spouses attended book club, the band has found a way to fuse their youthful passion with the wisdom of their years.
They specialize in playing rock classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, mixing hits from the golden era of Rock and Roll. Expect a setlist filled with songs that have stood the test of time – songs from Cranberries, REM, Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Blondie, Van Halen, Cake, The Cure, and more – and a few contemporary songs just for fun.
Their stage presence is fun and not too serious, with each member bringing their experience to the performance, making every show a celebration of both nostalgia and rock rebellion. BCR might be in their 50s, but their energy and enthusiasm keep them young at heart – rocking hard and keeping the spirit of the 70s, 80s, and 90s alive for fans young and old.
