About the Exhibit

Ct King, the winner of CCAC’s 10th annual Golden Ticket exhibition, presents a new body of work. In his Femme Fatales reconstruction series, he depicts spies and assassins that infiltrate and dominate within the sometimes creepy landscape of “Ct Carnivaland.”

Ct King is a Cincinnati-based artist who started his career in the Boston and New York City art and graffiti scenes. After receiving his BFA for photography at Museum School of Fine Arts at Tufts University, he moved to Cincinnati and since his arrival ten years ago, he has expanded his mediums to include sculpture and stop animation short films while continuing his love for mixed media, 2-D and 3-D collage. The common thread in his work can be described as “whimsically creepy with undertones of an underground urban landscape” or as King calls it “Ct Carnivaland.” King enjoys building and deconstructing with a hint of mistake-ism, where blind flow helps create his work.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1594419184919{padding-top: 20px !important;padding-bottom: 50px !important;}”]
