September: Instrument-Making with Amy Dennison
Start the new school year with a visit to the sound factory where you will find everything you need to make instruments! Each week budding musicians will build a simple musical instrument using recycled and simple everyday objects.  We’ll explore how to play the instruments, explore the fascinating world of sound, and then have fun learning to improvise and compose our own music. At the end of the four weeks we’ll invite friends and family for the premiere of ECCO (environmentally correct chamber orchestra)!

October: Printmaking with Lia Cavalaris
Local artist Lia Cavalaris will lead students through a month of printmaking fun! Students will learn how to use paper and cutting tools to transform an original design into a stencil for printmaking. Use markers, pastels and paint to add a hand embellished touch to each of your prints.

November: Textile and Recycled Art with Priscilla Oehlschlaeger

December: Holiday Art with Priscilla Oehlschlaeger
