Creative Clay Sculpture and Wheel Pottery (2:45 – 3:45pm)

$60.00

Grades 3-4

Tuesdays, 2:45 – 3:45 p.m.

To orient students to working with clay, they will first explore the medium with water-based clay so that they can take sculptures home that will dry the same day. Next, they will create a small-scale polymer clay sculpture, which will be fired off-site then painted/bedazzled in the subsequent class. Finally, they will have fun exploring the potter’s wheel to throw a small pot or vase with earthenware clay, which can be kiln-fired just like the professionals do! Preregistration by January 31, 2022 required.
