Indy Gorgeous Club (IGC) is a 4-piece funk jam band from the midwest, known for their sweet jams and immense energy. The band has influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to Pink Floyd and everything in between. The group prides itself on its ability to improvise in a live setting, creating new music for the audience right before its eyes. You can always expect an exciting, soulful, and jam-packed show from IGC.
Indy Gorgeous Club started as just a couple of musicians hanging out and jamming and quickly became a musical project that would continue to grow for years. IGC has gone through many stylistic changes but has always remained committed to the live aspect of its music. The band has three singles out, each representing a different era of their music and featuring a different cast of musicians. In July of 2021, the group found its niche and hit its stride, forming into a four-piece jam powerhouse and adding 3 part vocals into the mix. The group currently features Drew Matthews on guitar and vocals, Jay Thornbury on bass and vocals, Caleb Beik on keys and vocals, and Aidan Board on drums. IGC plays shows frequently and is currently working on their debut album, planning to head into the studio in the summer of 2024.
