The Dewey’s Community Room in CCAC’s new home is a free resource available to individuals and community groups in need of a space to gather. The space features tables that can be combined to seat up to 16 people or separated to act as whiteboards and is equipped with presentation and teleconferencing capabilities, high-speed WiFi, and a coffee maker.

You make a book the Dewey’s Community Room in 30-minute increments (no more than 1 hour total per day, and no more than 4 hours total per month) for free as long as your reservation meets the following guidelines:

  • Reservation holder must be 18+
  • Any programming offered is free of charge
  • Programming aligns with CCAC’s mission “to strengthen the critical link between participation in the cultural arts and successful, healthy children, adults, and communities.”
  • Programming does not discriminate based on race, color, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, disability, financial status, or marital status.

All Community Room reservations are subject to approval by CCAC’s staff, but a few examples of good uses for the Community Room would be knitting groups, book clubs, or non-profit/community meetings.

If you are looking to rent the space for a longer amount of time or for a private meeting, please contact our Private Event Staff or visit our Rental Page for more information.
