Mill Creek Drifters

Americana, bluegrass and Hippie Country is best way to describe the Mill Creek Drifters’ style. The band is comprised of a mix of veteran Cincinnati musicians and a young up and comer making his mark on the Cincinnati music scene. On the stand up bass is the veteran Pete Brown who has been playing for a variety of bands such as The Burning Caravan and the Hot Magnolias. He also played and recorded with Shiny and the Spoon and the 4 bit Fancy Band. Jerry Kramer born in Cincinnati and earned his chops on the streets of San Francisco in the late 60s and early 70s. He played locally with Dalton, Kramer and Whitis.  Jerry still plays guitar but is usually on the Dobro for the Drifters. Denny Angel has played in many bands on many different instruments in varied formats. He played a mean keyboard with the popular band The Irocs. Denny plays 6 string and the lap steel in this group. Rob Taylor was a founding member of the 4 bit Fancy Band He plays guitar and mandolin. The wild card in this group is the young but mighty Andrew Jensen on the banjo. Although he’s been playing the 5 string for only a few years he is a force to reckoned with in the Cincinnati music scene. He can be found on most nights sitting in with established bands or doing shows by himself when he’s not standing upfront with the Mill Creek Drifters.
