Modern Dance: Grades 2–4
Tuesdays, 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.
We know how hard it can be to find Modern Dance classes for children. It is part of our mission and passion to offer Modern Dance for all ages. In Modern, we teach your child the joy of movement: in its creativity, freedom, and power to express! Modern is Mutual Dance & Arts Center’s favorite technique, because it’s more about innovation and individuality, and less about traditional techniques and movements. Think: barefoot, creative movement, expressivity, and moving through space with different kinds of energy and flow. Dancers will also learn how to utilize the floor. This class is terrific for dancers who are interested in dancing, but not wanting to join in on a classical ballet class!

- Spring 2024: 19 weeks (January 2 – May 16, 2024. No class Mar. 26!)

- Cost: $55 per month. Kids class tuition amount is paid monthly + $30 non-refundable annual registration fee per student paid upfront
