Join us for this week’s Wednesdays on the Green – free evening concerts every Wednesday at 7pm – featuring the musical stylings of Natural Progression! We’ve lined up musical performances from May 31 – August 9, and we can’t wait for a summer filled with music, dancing, hands-on art making for kids, picnics, summer treats and shared memories. Kick back in the grass, enjoy the show and meet some new friends on the beautiful lawn at CCAC.
June’s Community Partner is Project Connect – kindly bring donations of hygiene supplies (soap, toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, feminine hygiene, shampoo/conditioner) and all sizes of boys and girls clothing (socks, underwear, winter camps and gloves) for Cincinnati Public School children.
About the Band: Natural Progression
Natural Progression is a group who believes that “good people deserve good music.” Originating in February 2011, Natural Progression hit the ground running and has yet to be stopped. Their exhilarating sound derives from each individual’s roots in Jazz, R & B, Soul, Neo-Soul, and Gospel. The true meaning of “Live” music comes to life when Joshua Jessen (keyboard), KJ glover (drums), David Harding (bass), Ben Sweeney (guitar), George Carpten (trumpet), Ricky Williams (saxaphone), Micah Davis (lead vocals), and KeiMarie (lead vocals) hit the stage. With their distinct sound, Natural Progression captures their audience while taking them on a musical quest, covering artist such as Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Chaka Kahn, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys, Adele, Aretha Franklin, and Whitney Houston.
