Live@ is a creative placemaking program that takes concert series into different Uptown neighborhoods to enliven neighborhood hubs and connect communities through live music. The Live@ U-Square series is sponsored by the Clifton Heights Community Urban Redevelopment Corporation and takes place in Clifton Heights during UC’s move-out and graduation weekend — one of the busiest and most energetic times of year in the neighborhood.

Concerts run during the afternoon (11:30-1:30) Thursday through Saturday of graduation weekend (April 30–May 2). These shows create a lively, high-visibility performance environment and a strong sense of neighborhood celebration.

The Cadillac Preachers are a four piece funky, soulful and heartfelt rock band that bring storytelling and beautiful melody to the stage. This tight-knit group of seasoned musicians has deep roots in rock and swagger. Their sound is loud when it needs to be, tender when it matters, and always locked into the groove. Together, they blur the lines between rock, Folk, R&B, and Soul—delivering a sound that’s as honest as a dirt road sermon and as powerful as a redlined V8. Whether it’s a packed bar or a festival stage, The Cadillac Preachers show up ready to testify—with stories and sweat, bringing good sound to your town.

In addition to the circle around the bandstand, several roads in and around Burnet Woods offer on-street parking. Look through the map below to find new areas to park if you want to avoid the traffic!

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not park in CCAC/Dewey’s shared parking lot off Hosea Ave, as this is reserved for Dewey’s patrons and events taking place within CCAC’s new home.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm). If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with our email list.
