TONIGHT’S PARADE HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER
Join us at CCAC’s new home at 6 pm before this week’s concert as we march together to the Burnet Woods Bandstand. Queen City Samba will lead our parade as we make some noise to celebrate the beginning of the sixteenth season of Wednesdays in the Woods, the 150th anniversary of Burnet Woods, and the start of summer! Bring bikes, wagons, streamers, noisemakers, vuvuzelas … whatever can make this a celebratory occasion!

The Comet Bluegrass All-Stars
The Comet Bluegrass All-Stars were assembled in 1996 and became the house band at the Northside neighborhood bar The Comet. The band soon gained popularity beyond the lounge at the Comet and has performed at the opening ceremonies of the World Choir Games as guests of the world-renowned Cincinnati Pops Orchestra; opened for bands such as Del McCoury, Ricky Skaggs, and Sam Bush; and has won numerous music awards.
In addition to the circle around the bandstand, several roads in and around Burnet Woods offer on-street parking. Look through the map below to find new areas to park if you want to avoid the traffic!
PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not park in CCAC/Dewey’s shared parking lot off Hosea Ave, as this is reserved for Dewey’s patrons and events taking place within CCAC’s new home.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm). If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with our email list.
