The Rooftop Sessions: KNOTTS
Step onto The Rooftop for intimate and relaxing concerts at sunset. CCAC’s stocked bar, a lineup of talented local musicans, and a venue like no other are all you need to take your Thursday evenings to the top.
Concerts are totally free to attend if you bring your own chair, or reserve a seat around CCAC’s fire pit tables for $10.
KNOTTS
KNOTTS loops in and out of art pop and indie soul. The band’s members consist of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Adalia Powell-Boehne, keyboardist Antoine Franklin, guitarist Jordan Wilson and drummer Isaiah Cook. Adalia possesses a truly one-of-a-kind plaintive voice, her songs are grounded with a strong sense of someone searching for her place in the world, that might sound like faint praise, but in a world full of show off vocal hysterics KNOTT’S songs feel intimate and real.
The Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Best New Artist has been given to KNOTTS, they’ve released music on Soul Step Record Label, and opened for artists such as Thundercat, Post Animal and Lucius. The band released their sophomore album Ribbon Dancer in 2023 followed by a US tour.
When visiting CCAC by car, please use the shared lot directly behind our building, which can be accessed off of Hosea Ave. The Clifton United Methodist Church’s lot, accessible off of Senator Pl, may be used as overflow and is connected via a few stairs connecting the two lots. We ask that you only use these lots while visiting CCAC or Dewey’s Pizza and move your vehicle before visiting any other locations around the Ludlow Business district.
If these lots are full, you may park along the street in many areas around our building. There are also two paid public lots that can be accessed via Ludlow or Howell Ave and are about a five-minute walk away.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater on the third floor. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon. If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with those who have reserved a spot.
