The Rooftop Sessions: The Cadillac Preachers
Step onto The Rooftop for intimate and relaxing concerts at sunset. CCAC’s stocked bar, a lineup of talented local musicans, and a venue like no other are all you need to take your Thursday evenings to the top.
Concerts are totally free to attend if you bring your own chair, or reserve a seat around CCAC’s fire pit tables for $10.
The Cadillac Preachers
Corey Hooker and The Cadillac Preachers bring a gritty blend of southern rock and heartfelt storytelling to the stage. Frontman Corey Hooker—an Ohio-born singer and songwriter—channels the emotional punch of Eddie Vedder, the fiery grit of Chris Stapleton, and the relentless energy of Dave Grohl. His voice carries weight, his lyrics cut deep, and his presence commands attention.
Backing him is The Cadillac Preachers, a tight-knit group of seasoned musicians with deep roots in classic rock and southern swagger. Their sound is loud when it needs to be, tender when it matters, and always locked into the groove. Together, they blur the lines between rock, Americana, and southern soul—delivering a sound that’s as honest as a dirt road sermon and as powerful as a revved-up V8.
When visiting CCAC by car, please use the shared lot directly behind our building, which can be accessed off of Hosea Ave. The Clifton United Methodist Church’s lot, accessible off of Senator Pl, may be used as overflow and is connected via a few stairs connecting the two lots. We ask that you only use these lots while visiting CCAC or Dewey’s Pizza and move your vehicle before visiting any other locations around the Ludlow Business district.
If these lots are full, you may park along the street in many areas around our building. There are also two paid public lots that can be accessed via Ludlow or Howell Ave and are about a five-minute walk away.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater on the third floor. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon. If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with those who have reserved a spot.
