Clifton Cultural Arts Center returns with our sixteenth season of Wednesdays in the Woods, a free summer concert series celebrating everything great about summer. Join us at the Burnet Woods bandstand each week for music, food, drink, art, and community!

The SunBurners
The SunBurners blend summertime chart-toppers with authentic steel drums and feel-good vibes. The band is known throughout the Midwest and East Coast as a premier live act at weddings, community festivals, nightlife venues, and public concerts.
A one-of-a-kind party band that has been performing together for over a decade, The SunBurners entertain audience members with a spirit that only comes from being top-notch musicians on-stage and good friends off-stage. Their musical stylings are anchored by steel drums, classic singalongs, a tight rhythm section, and arrangements of hit songs with island grooves and a party-time spirit.
The band covers artists like Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Bob Marley, the Eagles, Stevie Wonder, and many more. The SunBurners are ideal to add some variety to any community concert lineup. Their festival setlist embodies the perfect blend of country, reggae, yacht rock, top 40, calypso, classic rock, and funk. Jump aboard the band’s funky pontoon and enjoy this one-of-a-kind band!
In addition to the circle around the bandstand, several roads in and around Burnet Woods offer on-street parking. Look through the map below to find new areas to park if you want to avoid the traffic!
PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not park in CCAC/Dewey’s shared parking lot off Hosea Ave, as this is reserved for Dewey’s patrons and events taking place within CCAC’s new home.
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm). If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with our email list.
