Born and raised in Kentucky, I grew up in a family that adored every aspect of music: listening to it, creating it, singing it, sharing it, and living it. I was heavily influenced by my family’s favorites. My grandma Applegate’s favorite was Patsy Cline, whose heartbreak love songs still inspire me today. My eldest brother, Chris, began listening to Johnny Cash as a teenager, and now I love the simplicity and realness of his lyrics. Listening to my brother, Austin, playing his electric in his room along to the music of John Mayer, inspired me to play guitar. My older sister and I would sing Nicole C. Mullen and Mariah Carey together which taught me how to harmonize from a young age. My mom and dad listened to plethora of music and taught me that every genre has something special to offer. I was given my very first guitar when I was 12 years old by my great Uncle Dean who played locally in a band as a young adult. He would shower his great nephews and nieces with the gift of instruments. I had the privilege of being raised with awesome support from my very dedicated parents, who homeschooled me from kindergarten through high school, focusing on my love for music and artistry. I am very thrilled to now be an active musician based in Cincinnati. It has been electrifying to be featured alongside such strong and well-respected figures of the local music community in the past couple years. I am so thankful for the loving reception and support coming from these amazing musicians, and I feel great being able to support my friends in return! I have been honored to sing along side my soul sister, Jess Lamb and the Factory, and experience tour with Wonky Tonk, who quickly became one of my close friends. While I have been a soloist most of my career, I have recently had the great joy to play alongside two incredible Cincinnati based artists, Preston Bell Charles III and Sarah Gorak. My upcoming plans for this year include releasing my first full album on all streaming platforms.

In addition to the circle around the bandstand, several roads in and around Burnet Woods offer on-street parking. Look through the map below to find new areas to park if you want to avoid the traffic!

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not park in CCAC/Dewey’s shared parking lot off Hosea Ave, as this is reserved for Dewey’s patrons and events taking place within CCAC’s new home.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm). If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with our email list.
