Clifton Cultural Arts Center returns with our eighteenth season of Wednesdays in the Woods, a free summer concert series celebrating everything great about summer. Join us at the Burnet Woods bandstand each week for music, food, drink, art, and community!

Wednesday, July 8 is dedicated to Immigrant & Refugee Solidarity, featuring a live performance by Somos Música Y Sabor, a talented group of friends from Panama, Puerto Rico, the USA, Chile, and Perú.

The evening will also feature tables from organizations that serve immigrant and refugee communities, including World Pool, CAIN Food Pantry, Poverty Liberation Collective, LULAC Cincinnati, and Heartfelt Tidbits. Attendees can also explore artwork by Almapolas, a first-generation artist whose work explores the beauty and hardships of diasporic identity. Join us for a night of music, art, and meaningful connections that honor and celebrate immigrant and refugee communities.

This week’s food vendors: Dine-In Hawaiian, Graeter’s Ice Cream

This week at the Kids Art Corner: TBA

Somos Música y Sabor is made up of amigos from Panama, Puerto Rico, the USA, Chile, and Perú, who are tied together by their love of music. Each member brings over 20 years of experience performing locally and internationally, blending their diverse backgrounds into lively, heartfelt Latin rhythms. They perform at festivals, Salsa on the Square, weddings, birthdays, family gatherings, and any occasion that calls for infectious energy and celebration.

In addition to the circle around the bandstand, several roads in and around Burnet Woods offer on-street parking. Look through the map below to find new areas to park if you want to avoid the traffic!

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you do not park in CCAC/Dewey’s shared parking lot off Hosea Ave, as this is reserved for Dewey’s patrons and events taking place within CCAC’s new home.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will move to the McKillip Theater at CCAC’s new home (3412 Clifton Ave), one block north of Burnet Woods. CCAC staff monitor the weather closely throughout the day of the concert and make a final decision in the afternoon (typically around 4 pm). If the concert must move indoors, we will share that information on this page, on our socials, and with our email list.
