If you’ve driven down Clifton Avenue in the past couple of weeks, surely you’ve noticed the construction going on. (“Yes, I have,” I can hear you saying to your computer screen, “and don’t call me Shirley!”)
The road closures were the most obvious sign of progress this past month, and as frustrating as it was, those closures allowed construction crews to hook our new building up to utilities. With that complete, we’re beginning to see movement in the vertical direction. The first phase is the two cinderblock towers being erected right now. Those will house the stairwells and elevator that will make every part of the building accessible – including the green rooftop! Later this month, the steel frame of the building will begin, and the full shape of the building will become visible.
FUNDRAISING PROGRESS
Thanks to a generous donation from The Millstone Fund, we are now 90% of the way to our $10.5 million goal! We have only reached this milestone thanks to hundreds of donors just like you making gifts both large and small. We need the entire community’s support to help us reach the finish line and make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity come to life. Please consider making a gift today.
Gifts as low as $1,500 can be paid out over time and will be recognized on the permanent donor wall visible from the street. To make your lasting mark on CCAC’s new home, CLICK HERE or call us at (513) 497-2860.
