Enjoy an intimate performance by Summermusik’s woodwind quintet, bringing a vibrant mix of classical favorites and playful, expressive pieces to the stage. It’s a perfect chance to experience the rich textures and joyful energy of live chamber music up close.
Summermusik
Founded in 1974, Summermusik with resident ensemble Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra creates intimate, transformative experiences that connect the musically curious. Under the direction of Music Director Eckart Preu, Summermusik provides a unique and educational musical experience in an intimate setting for both seasoned and novice concert patrons.
The Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra is comprised of 33 professional musicians, the ideal ensemble size for presenting orchestral works from classical to pop to the music of world cultures as well as commissioned works by contemporary composers. Often, the ensemble shrinks down to as small as three musicians, allowing the organization to annually present more than 80 performances throughout Greater Cincinnati. Summermusik’s signature program, the Summermusik Festival, presents 11 orchestra and chamber music concerts each August.
When visiting CCAC by car, please use the shared lot directly behind our building, which can be accessed off of Hosea Ave. The Clifton United Methodist Church’s lot, accessible off of Senator Pl, may be used as overflow and is connected via a few stairs connecting the two lots. We ask that you only use these lots while visiting CCAC or Dewey’s Pizza and move your vehicle before visiting any other locations around the Ludlow Business district.
If these lots are full, you may park along the street in many areas around our building. There are also two paid public lots that can be accessed via Ludlow or Howell Ave and are about a five-minute walk away.
