Bruce Bennett, currently based in Jersey City, NJ, explores gender, race, and socioeconomic status through deceptively informal portraits of himself, his partner and their shared lives. In making record of their day-to-day, Bennett makes a tender moment monumental, making permanent the ephemeral feelings of love and beauty.
