Open Studio
CCAC’s MakeShop is open for self-guided exploration!
Open hours give you a free space to work on whatever creative endeavor you wish. You can also talk to our helpful staff about utilizing CCAC’s equipment for a small materials fee, or follow the guided instructions for one of the free, family-friendly projects set out for you to create at your own pace.
Some Current Projects:
This month we are starting a new tradition in the Makeshop Open Studio. A new hanging sign! Each month, one letter will be available for decoration during Open Studio and will be installed at the end of the month. This will go on until we have all eight letters hung, and then we will continue to replace them beginning to end. There will be a specific art medium to decorate each letter, so each one is unique!
There will be a large cardboard “M” available for the month of February to decorate. We will be using our POSCA paint markers to make it pop with vibrant colors. Come to any of our three weekly Open Studios and leave your mark in our MakeShop!
