The sign at the ball park says "No Monsters Allowed!", but that doesn't stop Roscoe from sneaking a little monster named Gus in to see a baseball game. It seems they're not alone as more monsters begin slipping into the ball park to join the fun. Giant puppets bring the history and tradition of baseball alive through songs, stories and poems. with Highly Improvable House opens at 7:30 pm Cincinnati’s own improvisational (improv) comedy troupe returns to CCAC for an evening of unscripted fun! Performing a series of improvisational games fueled by audience suggestions, Highly Improvable makes each show uniquely entertaining. This event is for adults and children 13 and older. Highly Improvable has been performing since 2011, when the troupe formed in a Hyde Park basement with three members. Now, the troupe has close to twenty members and regularly performs at the Lebanon Theatre Company and CCAC, as well as at the Improv Festival Cincinnati (IF Cincy). Their shows include long and short-form comedy at a variety of venues, and the troupe has branched out into sketch, stand-up, and podcasting. Highly Improvable alumni have gone on to perform at Second City, iO, the Annoyance, as well as a variety of different dramatic theater productions.Performance Location

Emerging in the 1920s as a combination of the rhythm, styling and technique of African Dance (a la The Charleston) with the lead/follow partnering aspects of European dances (like the Waltz), Lindy Hop takes its name from a coincidental historical event of the same time period: the first ever trans-atlantic flight piloted by Charles Lindberg in 1927. Created by African-Americans and traditionally danced to Big Band Jazz Music, Lindy Hop is the “founding father” of all future Swing Dance idioms.- Age: Adults
